Redundant inverters solve Vietnamese factory's power instability.

Cooperation Background: A Vietnamese electronics contract manufacturer frequently experienced equipment shutdowns due to unstable local grid voltage, resulting in production losses exceeding 100,000 US dollars per month due to voltage fluctuations. The customer needed an inverter system that could stably convert 380V industrial electricity to 220V for precision equipment, requiring a conversion efficiency of ≥95%, supporting loads above 100kW, and having anti-surge and overload protection functions.

Cooperation Process: Three 150kW industrial-grade inverters were provided to form a parallel system, adopting high-frequency isolation technology with a conversion efficiency of 96.8%, which can withstand ±20% voltage fluctuations. To adapt to the factory's three-shift production mode, the system is designed with an N+1 redundant architecture, so that the maintenance of a single device does not affect the overall operation. During the installation phase, engineers were dispatched to guide on-site, cooperating with the customer to complete the connection with the original power distribution system, and the debugging and put into use were completed in only 3 days.

Cooperation Results: After the transformation, the number of equipment shutdowns in the factory dropped from 15 times per month to zero, the product defect rate decreased by 12%, and the annual savings in electricity costs and loss costs were about 1.5 million US dollars. The operating temperature of the inverter is stable below 40, and the customer reported that the equipment noise is below 60 decibels, which fully meets the workshop environment requirements. At present, 6 more units have been ordered for the new factory area construction.
